Grizzly women's soccer announces fall prospect camps

Dates set for Sept. 15 and Oct. 20

ALAMOSA, Colo. - Adams State University first-year head women's soccer coach has announced that the Grizzlies will hold a pair of prospective camps during the fall, on Saturday, Sept. 15 and Saturday, Oct. 20.

The fall's Player Prospect Day Camps are for girls that are in high school or graduate from high school, but may not attend during their high school season per NCAA rules. It is strongly encouraged that student-athletes interested in attending Adams State take part in the camps. The camps will give prospects a chance to see what Adams State is all about and allow the coaches to see them in action.

There will also be a third date scheduled for later in the fall for players unable to attend the Sept. 15 or Oct. 20 dates.

Registration is $40, and will increase to $50 within seven days of the camp date. Campers will receive a camp t-shirt as well as a snack during the tour of the ASU campus. Players should bring with them to the camp indoor soccer shoes/tennis shoes, shorts, a t-shirt, socks, towel, cleats, outdoor training gear, a soccer ball, water bottle and shin guards.

Check-in will take place from 12:30-1:00 p.m. on camp days, with training getting underway at 1 p.m. The camps will last until 6:30 p.m.
