Grizzly baseball try-out informational meeting set for Thursday
ALAMOSA, Colo.— Adams State University Baseball Coach Jim Capra announced that his program will hold a tryout for his 2012-13 team this weekend. All currently enrolled ASU students who wish to participate must attend an informational meeting on Thursday (Aug. 23) at 5 p.m. in the Dr. Joe I. Vigil Hall of Fame Room in Plachy Hall.
The tryout will then be held Saturday and Sunday. Further information about the tryout and the baseball program in general will be given at the Thursday afternoon meeting.
In order to participate in the tryout, potential student-athletes should have completed the ASU Athletics Medical Pre-Participation packet prior to the tryout. That packet can be downloaded here. Prospective student-athletes must also be registered full-time (12 or more credit hours) for this fall semester.
The 2012-13 Grizzly baseball team will be ASU’s first since 1976.
