Last Time Out
The Grizzlies return home following a road series against Colorado School of Mines in which they won the opening game before dropping the final three games in the series.

Saturday DH - Game One - The offense struggled against CSM's starting pitcher Tyler Blomster (3-1) who limited the Grizzlies to three hits in 6.1 innings. Erik Hildebrandt gave ASU their first hit in the third with a single to centerfield. It wasn't until a Marco Garmendia single in the sixth that ASU notched another hit. Tony Stanich hit a double to left center in the seventh to round out ASU's hits in game one. Stanich advanced to third after his double thanks to a fielder's choice but was left stranded with a strikeout that followed to end the game. The Orediggers took a 3-0 lead after the second inning then added a run in the fifth and three more in the six to produce their 7-0 lead. Dylan Sherry (0-2) picked up the loss in a starting role. Sherry tossed 5.2 innings with seven runs allowed off nine hits. The senior struck out two batters and finished with 116 net pitches.  Ty Gavin made a relief appearance and retired his only batter of the game to end the sixth.

Saturday DH - Game Two - The Grizzlies took a 4-0 lead through the middle of the third as a Nick Hill single helped push ASU on the scoreboard. On Hill's single in the second, a CSM defensive error allowed Stanich to cross home plate. An inning later, the Grizzlies notched three runs off four hits as Hildebrandt connected for a RBI double followed by a RBI single from Michael Downs and a RBI ground out from Stanich. Momentum then swung towards Colorado Mines as the Orediggers went on to score six unanswered runs. The Grizzlies held a slim 4-3 lead entering the sixth but CSM scored three runs in the bottom of the frame to take a 6-4 lead. Hildebrandt and Grant Templin both singled in the seventh to spark a comeback but the Grizzlies were unable to send a runner across home plate, sending the team to a 6-4 defeat. Hildebrandt paced the offense with a 2-for-4 outing with a RBI and run scored as Templin finished 2-for-4. Mason Munford (1-2) picked up the loss after entering the game as a reliever with one out in the sixth. Starter Brett Aker pitched 5.1 innings with two earned runs allowed off four hits. Beau Lofink also made a relief appearance during CSM's three-run sixth.
