ALAMOSA - Adams State University track and field program will host the annual ASU NCAA Qualifier this weekend, starting tomorrow. Both teams are coming off good weekends that moved them out of the No.10-ranked spot in the nation to No.2-ranked on the women's side and No.6-ranked on the men's side.
The meet will begin tomorrow at 1 p.m. with the women's pentathlon competition. A half hour after that the men's heptathlon will kick off. While those continue their courses, the men and women's pole vault will begin at 5 p.m. along side the weight throw and triple jump. The running events run tomorrow are the men and women's 5000 and 200, beginning at 6 p.m.
The meet will continue at 9 a.m. Saturday, with general running events beginning at noon.Â
