2011-2012 Indoor: Central All Region Team in the distance medley relay. First Team All RMAC in the distance medley. Second Team All RMAC in the 4x400 meter relay

Prep: Competed in the 200, 400, and 800 for the Di’Anthony Smootherman coached Normandy Senior High… His best in the 400 is 48.3 and in the 800 is 1:54… Was All-Conference in the 200 and is the reigning conference champ in the 400 for the past three years… Was named All-State in the 400 in 2011 … Was named Most Valuable Runner in 2011, Top Gun in 2010, and Best Newcomer in 2009… Placed fifth at state in the 400 and third in the 4x2 in 2011… In 2010, placed fifth in the 4x4 at state… Took seventh in the 4x8 and fifth in the 4x4 in 2009… Also played football and ran cross country… Was an All-Conference selection in cross country… Wants to go pro in track.

Academics: Is majoring in exercise science… Graduated Normandy HS with a 3.0 GPA... Was on the HS Honor Roll.

Off the Track: Born 05/18/93… Son of Derek A. Brown and Keisha Powell… Siblings Ashley Brooks and Zuri Brown are 16 and 8… Enjoys watching TV and making others laugh… Favorite movie is The Social Network… Favorite foods are baked tilapia, ham, and macaroni and cheese… Favorite professional athlete is Bershawn Jackson.
