Solid effort on the mound not quite enough as Grizzlies fall in series opener
PUEBLO, Colo.—Jeffrey Schmitt (Cheyenne, Wyo.) was outstanding on the mound for the Adams State University Grizzlies Friday night, pitching 6.0 innings and giving up just one run on five hits. The Grizzlies were unable to put any runs on the bored however, and Schmitt’s effort was not enough as the Grizzlies fell to the Colorado State-Pueblo Thunderwolves by a 2-0 final in the series opener.
