Alicia Nelson named 2012 DII Women's Cross Country Scholar Athlete of the Year
NEW ORLEANS –Adams State Women’s Cross Country and Track and Field athlete Alicia Nelson (Craig, Colo.) was named the USTFCCCA NCAA Division II Women’s Scholar Athlete of the Year for the 2012 cross country season by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), announced Monday morning. Grizzlies lead conference with three First Team All-RMAC picks
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— After claiming the NCAA Division II National, South Central Regional and Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference team titles, the Adams State University men’s cross country team placed a conference-high three members on the First Team All-Academic RMAC squad in sophomores Tabor Stevens (Canon City, Colo.) and John Luterbach (Waukesha, Wisc.) and senior Andrew Roberts (Boulder, Colo.).
