  • National Tournament held in Plachy Hall, the only National Championship ASC has ever hosted
  • Coached by 2001 Hall of Fame Inductee Frank Powell, the squad crowned three NAIA National Champions and eight All-Americans
  • Hall of Famers Mike Stanley and Dominick Carollo (2002) were team members
  • Carollo went on to win to NCAA Division I title as well
  • Team also won MIWA Regional and RMAC titles and was inducted into the RMAC Hall of Fame in 2005
  • All-American Wrestlers were Rich Tamble, Mike Stanley (National Champion), Gordon Levy, Dwight Fritz, Don Apodca, Glen Engle (National Champion), Dominick Carollo (National Champion) and Tom Kusleika. Additional team members include A. Simoni, F. Lewis, I. Polkwoske, R. Traynor, D. Fritz, Frank Powell, C. Fontanez, Billy Dunlap.
