  • Team was under direction of interim head coach Larry Jeffryes, selected as NAIA Coach of the Year, while Dr. Joe I. Vigil was  away on sabbatical
  • Assistant coaches were Dannie and Teddy Makris
  • NAIA Championship was held in Liberty, Mo.
  • Adams State finished with team score of 196 to defeat runner-up Eastern New Mexico (210)
  • Team members were Steve Vining (12th), Tim Ramey (17th), David Wood (41st), Milt Place (67th), Mark Weeks (85th), Norm Roberts (99th) and Pablo Vigil (134th)
  • Team inducted into RMAC Hall of Fame in 2006
  • Vigil was inducted into Adams State Athletics Hall of Fame in 2006 as well
