With the program's third national title in four years, the Adams State wrestling team was awarded the 1975 NAIA National Championship. In total, four grapplers earned individual recognition led by Craig Kelso with a first place finish at the 190 weight division. In third place was Tom Cortez at the 126 weight division followed by Ray Luna in fourth place at 150 and Ron Buffo in fifth place at 167. For the team title, Adams State led the way with 61 points to defeat second place finisher Augsburg at 55 points.
