Led ASC to its last RMAC title (7-0 record) in that year
Tri-captain of the University of Colorado team in the 1970’s
Still holds Buffs’ record for single-game tackles (30 in 1974)
Was an Honorable Mention All-Big Eight selection
Signed with Kansas City Chiefs before knee injury thwarted his career
Coached at Grand Junction High School and Mesa State College before becoming ASC’s Head Coach in 1984
Was ASC’s Athletic Director
Served on the NCAA Division II Football Committee
