Adams State University Athletics

In his two years with Adams State Jim Wood earned two top-five finishes at the NAIA National Championships. He was the 1976 National Champion at the 142 pound weight class for Adams State. His work on the mat that season helped Adams State win a
national championship. A two-year wrestler for Adams State, Wood came back his senior season and placed fourth at 142 pounds at nationals.
