1967 and 1968 NAIA All-America receiver and tight end
Teams went a combined 16-2 and a perfect 6-0 in RMAC play during those two years
Caught a then school-record 12 touchdown passes in 1967
Averaged an impressive 30.1 yards per catch that season
Caught 18 touchdown passes in his 2-year year career despite playing in a conservative Wing-T offense
Was also an All-American at Garden City (Kan.) Community College in 1966
Signed as a free agent by the Denver Broncos in 1969 and played for two seasons
Went on to the coaching ranks, coaching successful high school teams in his native Pennsylvania, Colorado and most recently Nogales, Arizona
Posted a combined 110 wins as a head coach
Now is in his first year as the offensive coordinator and receivers coach for Pima Community College in Tucson
Also coached professional football in Italy
