Named as team’s MVP and Most Inspiration Award Winner in 1985 after coming back from injury that forced him to redshirt during the 1984 season
Was team’s Most Improved Winner in 1982
Graduated from ASU in 1985 with degree in industrial technology
Later earned M.A. in special education from ASU in 1992
