  • Led ASU to the national team title in 1990, ASU’s last of 8 wrestling crowns
  • Also placed third in 1989 to earn first of two All-America honors
  • Ranked amongst ASU’s top 20 in wins (83), despite having just a 3-year stint at ASC
  • Helped ASU Hall of Famer Rodger Jehlicka coached teams to impressive 28-6 dual meet record in his career, highlighted by 1988 win over Notre Dame
  • ASU squad also won 1989 and 1990 RMAC Championships and 1988, 1989 and 1990 Colorado Collegiate Titles during his career
  • Helped recruit fellow Hall of Fame Dale Hall and all-time winningest wrestler Aaron Cassetta (2012 inductee) from his hometown of Hartford, Wisconsin
