MSOC| Seniors Get Dominant Win On Senior Day

ALAMOSA, Colo. (October 23rd, 2016) --- The ASU men's soccer team sent their seniors out on a high note today, beating Colorado Christian with ease 5-0.

Shane Wagner, Ethan Jackson, Bernard Tume, and Symon Fabbricatore all took the field for their final home games of their career this afternoon. While Leo Barba's goal would be the only one in the first half, the Grizzlies would let loose in the second. Four more goals went in for Adams in the second half, including one by senior, Symon Fabbricatore. Fabbricatore adds his 6th goal on the year, increasing his career goals and goals in a season records that he previously broke earlier this season.

Coach Bentley had this to say: "Very pleased with the result today. We wanted to make a statement and the boys really rallied around that idea and got it done. It's also a great way to send our seniors out.  They've been terrific to work with and have really supported the coaching staff and their teammates since day one. We will enjoy this for 24 hours and then get back to work."

The win makes Adams State 6-10 on the season, and is now tied for the best record in school history. The loss drops Colorado Christian to 1-15.

The Grizzlies conclude the season on the road at Metro State on October 28th, and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs on October 30th.
