ALAMOSA, Colo. (October 30th, 2016)— The Adams State University Grizzlies soccer team hosted the Colorado School of Mines Orediggers in an afternoon match up that doubled as the Grizzlies' Senior Day. Adams State honored Grizzly seniors,
Elaine Van de Wille,
Shelby McBain,
Abbey Rasmussen,
Mikaela Schmidt,
Dezirae Armijo,
Hope Cruz, and
Daisy Perez before the game, that unfortunately did not go the Grizzlies' way. Adams State dropped the match 6-0.
The first half of play saw the Orediggers score three of their six goals. Despite the charging Grizzly offense, CSM would be up 3-0 going into the half.
The second half started out with the Orediggers scoring in the fifty-third minute of play. From there they would add two more goals to bring the contest to an end.
Grizzly goalkeeper,
Teagan Moore, would end the day with four saves. Moore ended up facing 13 shots on the day.
McBain, who also tied the school record for single assists in a season, with nine, was the leader with four shots (three of which were on net). Teammates

The Grizzlies wrap up their season with a record of 7-8-1 (4-7-1 RMAC).
