"I'm pleased with the way our team responded in the second half after some sloppy play in the first half. For a young group like ours to collect themselves, put the first behind us and come out strong in the second half is a good step forward." Said Head Coach
Jason Levesque after the game.
"We've still got a very steep mountain to climb with a crucial weekend and a daunting RMAC schedule ahead. We need to better. It's a process, things take time. We can learn from today, be happy about a win and move forward into the next game."
Out of the Grizzlies' 37 shots, 23 were on net. Adams State goaltender,
Connor Johnson, continued with his stellar season by facing 12 saves on the day. The Grizzlies also went 23-23 on clears.
Adams State is at home again on April 8
th, when they host the Westminster College Griffins for a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) match up. Play is set to begin at 4:00 pm.
