COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (September 4
th, 2016)—The Adams State University women's soccer team traveled to Colorado Springs to face off against the Angelo State University Belles earlier Sunday. Unfortunately the Grizzlies were unable to stop Angelo State's offense, as they fell 2-0.
The Belles drew first blood, just 5:26 into the contest. The second goal would follow at the 26:56 minute of the first period.
Adams State was led by
Lacey Daniel who was able to take three shots on net for the Grizzlies.
Elaine Van de Wille, and
Shelby McBain each had two shots a piece.
Grizzly goaltender,
Teagan Moore, finished the day with six saves, while Angelo State goal tender, Sammy Cude finished with four.
Adams State will be on the road for their next two games, as they travel first to Portales, New Mexico to take on the Eastern New Mexico University Greyhounds on September 9
