CANYON, Texas, - The Adams State University baseball team (0-6, 0-0 RMAC) is still searching for its first taste of victory after a rough trip to West Texas A&M. The Grizzlies would lose Friday 1-8, 0-5/0-2 in Saturday double header, and Sunday 2-19.
Â
Friday's contest started off with a
Dakota Solis RBI to get
Nico Nintze home in the first inning. From there, the Buffs would score one in the third, five in the fourth, and another on an error in the fifth to seal the win for the home team.
Tyson Zanski had three hits on four at-bats. Nick Canas would score two runs on two hits in his three at-bats. Â
Â
The double-header on Saturday went even better for West Texas A&M as the team won both matchups without giving the Grizzlies a single run. The early game was 0-5 and the next went 0-2.
Â

Tony Stanich sac-flied out to allow a run in by
Jake Angelopulos in the top of the eighth. WTAMU would cruise to a 19-2 victory in the end.
Tyson Zanski led the ASU with two hits on three at-bats, and an RBI. Bodie Bryan led the Buffs with two hits and two RBI's in his four at-bats. Â
Â
The Grizzlies head right back to Texas next weekend for a four game series with Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. Â
