GRAND JUNCTION, COLO. - The Adams State University baseball team (1-41, 1-27 RMAC) continue to struggle after dropping another four games this weekend. The team could not overcome the previously ranked Mavericks of Colorado Mesa (29-12, 20-8 RMAC) on their home turf and suffered their 20
th straight loss.

The Grizzlies would not score in this series for 14 innings after losing game one 0-13. In the fifth inning of game two,
Tony Stanich batted in Jake Angelopulos to end the drought. The Mavericks would go on to win 8-1. Mesa again dominated in game three with a 10-0 win before Adams got it going in game four today. ASU would take an early 1-0 lead in the final game of the series after Stanich batted in a run to start things off. The Mavericks would answer with 13 straight runs through bottom of the third. The Grizzlies would add seven more but it would not be enough in the 8-18 loss.

Tony Stanich did his part with two RBI's, three hits, and one run. Dakota Solis added another two RBI's and three hits.

The team will host New Mexico Highlands next weekend for their final home series of the season.
