PUEBLO – Adams State University men's lacrosse ended its season Saturday, losing to CSU-Pueblo by a score of 9-14. The Grizzlies ended the season with a 4-10 record, winning half of the games that the team hosted.

The Thunderwolves Blake Foerster was to thank for the early lead in the game, assisting on two of the first three goals and notching a man-up goal to take the 3-0 lead.
Alex Hoduffer would answer with a man-up goal of his own before Foerster found his teammate for his third assist.
Kage Janes found the back of the net in the end of the first to make it 2-4 going into the second quarter.

The second started as the first did with three Pueblo scores to open play.
Danny Krieble scored with three minutes remaining, but two more goals for the Thunderwolves led to a 3-9 advantage at halftime.

Out of the break a man-up opportunity led to a quick Janes goal. Pueblo would answer with one of their own before
Kale Wilson scored his 21
st of the season in a man-up situation. Pueblo would rattle off four more entering the fourth before Adams finally caught stride. The team ended the game scoring four straight, starting off with a Jacob Coleman goal from
Jacob Austin. Janes would finish off the hat trick from an
Emmitt MacFarlane pass before Janes found Wilson for the final goal.

The game was extremely physical, as there were 16 penalties in the game. Both teams were successful on three man-up situations, while Adams led with nine opportunities. The Grizzlies were also victors on faceoffs, 14-11, groundballs, 36-27, and turnovers, 19-22.

Taylor Davis led the game with five goals for CSU-Pueblo, while Foerster had seven assists.
