DENVER, Colo. — The Adams State Grizzlies played in their final game of the season today against Regis University.
From the beginning of the game the Rangers had control. They scored twice within the first ten minutes. The Grizzlies were able to hold off the Rangers for the first half.
The second half began and the Grizzlies defense was back in action as they held off the Rangers even more. The Grizzlies however were still trying to get their offense going as they were so far unsuccessful. The Rangers offense found the back of the net two more times in the 66th and 68th minute. This would make the score 4-0. The Grizzlies refused to give up and fought back. They would do this all the way through until the end of the game. Applying the pressure until the end, the Grizzlies scored a goal within the last minute. Brayan Fernandez found the back of the net with an assist from Ranulfo Lopez.
This was the final game for the Grizzlies and even though they didn't get the outcome they wanted, they never gave up and worked hard until the final whistle.
