LAS VEGAS, N.M.— Adams State's
Alexandria Estrada and senior Jayne Scheiss found the back of the goal on Wednesday as they paced the Grizzlies to a 2-0 win over New Mexico Highlands University on Wednesday afternoon at Old Memorial Middle School. With the win the Grizzly season comes to an end with Adams State finishing with a 2-12-2 overall record and a 1-9-2 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference record.
The game saw both teams have ample opportunities in the first half as New Mexico Highlands had nine shots in the first. Neither team was able to score until five minutes elapsed in the second half.
In that second half, Estrada scored the first goal before Scheiss scored and got an assist from Karlee Cabellero.

Ashley Beers played 85 minutes to earn the win as she made seven saves. Senior
Reannon Baskin played the final five minutes and made two saves for the Grizzlies.
