Adams State was able to win their first Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) game 25-24 as several key plays at the exact moment they were needed helped buoy the Grizzlies to a Homecoming win over Fort Lewis College.
Cowboys Last Game
The New Mexico Highlands University football dropped a 42-7 decision against South Dakota Mines last Saturday. The Hardrockers raced out to a 21-0 lead at the half and never looked back.
As the score indicates, the Hardrockers dominated the game statistically. They out-gained NMHU 403 yards to 244 and had the edge in first downs 23-15. South Dakota Mines forced the game's only turnover, recovering a NMHU fumble mid-way through the third quarter.
