Alamosa, Colo. - The Adams State men's lacrosse continued their season against Colorado Mesa University Friday. The final score ended 20-3 in favor of Mesa. The Grizzlies move to 1-7 on the season and 1-3 in RMAC play.

The Grizzlies scored 1 goal in the first quarter, but were scoreless in the second quarter. The Mavericks started hot and stayed hot through the first half and went into halftime up 14-1. The Grizzlies tightened up their defense in the second half, only allowing 6 points; however, the Grizzlies were only able to score 2 more times. The final score ended 20-3 in favor of Mesa. The true difference in the game came from shots with the Grizzlies having only 9 and the Mavericks having 42.
The Grizzlies will be back in action Wednesday to face Concordia University Irvine at home in Alamosa at 3:00pm MT.
