Alamosa, Colo. - The Adams State men's lacrosse continued their season against Colorado Mesa University on Friday. The final score ended 17-8 in favor of the Mavericks. The Grizzlies move to 1-12 on the season and 1-6 in RMAC play.

The Mavericks came out hot in the first half. Scoring 5 points in the first quarter and 5 more in the second quarter. The Grizzlies were held to 2 points going into halftime. After halftime the Grizzlies battled back well, but Colorado Mesa matched each and every move. The third quarter was even 4-4. Going into the fourth quarter the game was 14-6 in favor of the Mavericks. The Grizzlies scored 2 more points, compared to Mesa's 3. The game ended 17-8 in favor of the Mavericks.
The Grizzlies will be back in action Sunday at 11:00am to finish off conference play and will face off against Westminster University at home.
