Biography
Prep: Swam for the Liberty HS Lions under Charlie Cunningham… Received most improved in 2009… Going on to receive MVP and most valuable swimmer in 2010 -2012… Has lettered and gone to state her entire HS career… In 2012 her relays got 2nd and 3rd in state…. Also placing 6th in the 50 free and 100 backstroke in 2012... Team won regionals in 2010… Going on to win districts in 2011 and 2012… Also ran track and field in HS.
Academics: Is majoring in Nursing… Graduated from Liberty HS in 2013 with a 3.125 GPA.
Out of the Pool: Born 12/13/94… Daughter of Arlene and Gil Mantzey… Sister to Morgan who is 15… Enjoys working out, hanging with friends and eating… Favorite movies are Pitch Perfect and Fools Gold… Favorite foods are Mexican food and Ice Cream… Favorite professional sports team is the Arizona Cardinals.
Why I Chose Adams State: “It had a swimming program and a nursing program. I wanted to continue to swim in college, and this provided me with both. I also like the small town atmosphere.”
