Biography

2017: Made an appearance in nine games … During the offseason, Lucero was moved from quarterback to linebacker to assist the Grizzly linebacking corps … Recorded six tackles and made an impact on all special teams units.  
 
Before ASU: Played at Eastern New Mexico University…appeared in 19 games and totaled 171 passing yards and 98 rushing yards in a backup role.
 
Prep: Played for head coach Brad Hirsch at Aztec High School in Aztec, New Mexico … State champion in football and wrestling … Two-time First Team All-State quarterback … Mr. Football Award recipient during senior season in 2012 … Also played safety, receiver, and punter … Lettered in baseball and track & field.
