**2-time M.A.D Player of the Week (2010)**

As a Sophomore (2010): Played and started all 11 games as an outside linebacker... Tallied 54 total tackles, including 19 solo stops... Was fifth on the team in total tackles... Also had 4.5 TFL's throughout the campaign... Made a career-high eight tackles, including four solo stops against Chadron State (Sept. 25)... Also tallied a forced fumble, pass break-up and blocked kick against the Eagles... Recovered and forced a fumble against Western New Mexico (Oct. 16) before intercepting a pass while returning it 15 yards and for a score at Colorado Mines (Oct. 30)... Named as one of the team's M.A.D. (Make a Difference) Players of the Week for both efforts... Finished the year

As a Freshman (2009): Played in all 11 games as a true freshman, mostly on special teams... Also saw time as a reserve defensive back... Made six total tackles, including one solo... That came on Sept. 26 at New Mexico Highlands... Had 2-tackle games against the Cowboys and again on Oct. 24 at Mesa State. 

Prep:  Played multiple positions for the Andy Lowry coached Columbine HS Rebels…  Had five interceptions and earned second team all-conference honors as a junior… Earned first team all-conference, second team all-state and honorable mention all-Colorado honors as a senior…  Was a member of the 5A State Championship team in 2006… Also competed in baseball and wrestling.

Academics: Is undecided upon a major... Graduated from Columbine HS in 2009 with a 3.1 GPA.

Off the Field:  Born 8/14/90... Son of Dan and Corrine Wiggins... Brother Nick is 25… Sisters Maria and Megan are 21 and 13, respectively… Dan played football at Colorado State University in 1982 and 1983... Nick is playing baseball for Trinidad State Junior College... Hobbies include playing Frisbee and bowling… Favorite movies are Avatar and the Avengers... Favorite foods are calzones... Favorite professional team is the Atlanta Braves... Likes the small town atmosphere the most about Adams State.
