**Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week (Sept. 26, 2009)**

As a Redshirt Freshman (2010): Played in team's first three games before suffering a season-ending injury... Was granted a NCAA medical hardship waiver, preserving his year of eligibilty... Had four carries for 15 net yards... Had one rush for a career-long seven yards at Division I-FCS Northern Colorado (Sept. 4)... Rushed three times for eight yards a week earlier in the season-opener against Dixie State (Utah).

As a Freshman (2009): Redshirt season... Named as the Scout Team Offensive Player of the Week for the New Mexico Highlands game (Sept. 26).

Prep: Averaged 13.3 yards per carry as a senior in 2008 with the Don McGatlin coached Miami-Yoder HS Buffs of Rush, Colo… Earned first team all-state honors for the 8-man team that went 9-1 while winning a Black Forest Division title… Also competed in basketball and track… Was the state champion in the 100 and 200-meter dash setting a 2A record with a time of 22.23 in the 200 meters.

Academics: Is undecided upon a major.

Off the Field: Born 4/25/09… Has a sister, Melissa Carl… Enjoys sports and video games… Favorite movie is  Tears of the Sun… Favorite foods are peanut butter and jelly… Favorite professional sports team is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
