JC: Played for the Trinidad State JC Trojans in 2011 and 2012… Played in 13 games as a sophomore in 2012, recording a 1-1 record, six strikeouts and a 9.84 ERA… Helped the team to a 32-24 record and a third place finish in Region IX… Hit .200 as a freshman in 2011… Also had a .230 slugging percentage and a .430 on-base percentage that year.

Prep: Hit .405 with a .571 slugging percentage and .554 on-base percentage as a senior with the Durango High School Demons in 2010… Hit one home run while recording 15 RBI… Also was a 4-year varsity basketball player… Earned 5A All-Southwestern League honors as a senior… Also received the Brian Merry Memorial Scholarship as the program’s outstanding senior player.

Club: Played for the Durango Thunder and the Farmington Cardinals for one year each.

Academics: Graduated from Trinidad State with a 3.5 GPA… Plans to major in sports and exercise management at Adams State with career plans of becoming a coach and athletic director.
