Prep: 3-year varsity starter in the outfield for the Derrick Peterson coached Lakewood HS Tigers… Earned second team all-conference honors as both a junior and senior… Served as a team captain as a senior in 2012, hitting .407 while recording .583 on-base and .633 slugging percentages… Hit .387 with .450 on-base and .480 slugging percentages as a junior in 2011.

Club: Played for the Littleton based and Scott Bland coached Colorado Bandits in the summer of 2012… Had played for the Mark Holzemer coached Slammers Black team, based in Lakewood, during the fall of 2011… Also played for the Lakewood Legion A team for three years.

Academics: Is majoring in business management… Graduated from high school with a 3.0 GPA.

Off the Field: Born 12/22/93… Son of Steve and Flo Jones… Has three older siblings: Andrew, Sarah and Sam… Enjoys fishing and weightlifting… Favorite movie is Dumb & Dumber… Favorite food is spaghetti… Favorite professional sports team is the Colorado Rockies.
