Attended San Francisco Mission High School … Accumulated 128 innings, finishing with 148 strikeouts and a 1.91 ERA during his four years at Mission … Lettered all four years at Mission High School, accumulating multiple awards, including All-League 1st Team and All-Metro all four years … Along with this he was also a Recipient of the Joe DiMaggio Award as the San Francisco Baseball Player of the Year in 2019, the 2019 Player of the Year by San Francisco Old Timers Association, and the California State Spirit of Sports Award for Athletic and Community Service.
