Prep: Earned first team All-Conference honors at both second base and right field positions as a junior in 2011 for the  Legacy HS Lightning and coahced by Ty Gioradano… Picked up first team All-Region honors at second base position during that year as well… Also earned first team All-Conference honors at right field as a sophomore in 2010… Named team’s MVP, Mr. Baseball Award winner and Mr. Baseball in both 2010 and 2011.

Club: Played for the Legacy Summer team from 2008-11 and for the Darron Cox coached Thunder Academy in the falls of 2009 through 2009-11.

Academics: Is majoring in English with an emphasis in communications… Had a 3.0 high school GPA.

Off the Field: Born 08/10/93… Son of Dave and Michele Bollig… Brother Joel is 31… Sister Heather is 26… Enjoys playing the ukulele and hanging out with friends… Favorite movie is Step Brothers… Favorite food is spaghetti… Favorite professional sports team is the Colorado Rockies.

Why I Chose Adams State: “It seems like a good fit for me.  It’s close to home, yet still far enough away to have my independence.  I have talked to a lot of people who have gone here and they all absolutely loved it.  Adams State also gives me the opportunity to play baseball at the collegiate level.  Everything just seems to fit.”
