Prep: Second team All-Conference player for the Jefferson HS Spartans, coached by Robby Bales and Al Bleser… Played second base, shortstop and third base positions… Captained 2012 team to a league championship, a 12-8 overall record and a No. 14 state ranking at the 4A level… Hit .310 as a senior in 2012… Also had a .438 on-base percentage while scoring 26 runs… Tallied 11 RBI and six stolen bases as well…Received squad’s Most Inspirational Player of the Year award in 2012.

Club: Played for coach John Cronican and Hit Streak in 2011… Had played Legion A ball in 2009 and 2010 after being with the Denver Dragons from 2004-08.

Academics: Is majoring in sports management with career plans of becoming a defensive coach for baseball… Had a 4.1 high school GPA… Earned three academic letters and was on the honor roll after all four years… Was a DECA officer and a 2-time DECA state qualifier.

Off the Field: Born 10/23/93… Son of Robert and Kathleen Bybee… Sister Krystine is 20… Robert competed in water skiing at the University of Nebraska… Kathleen played volleyball and track at Doane (Neb.)… Enjoys wakeboarding, snowboarding, hunting and fishing… Favorite movie is The Sandlot… Favorite food is steak… Favorite professional sports team is the Colorado Rockies.
