2014: Played in 42 games while making 26 starts in the infield.... Had 3 triples and 12 rbi's on the year while batting .302.... His best game of the year came against Regis University where he went 3-5 with 3 runs scored, 2 rbi's, and hit 2 triples.

2013: Started 39 games...played in a total of 44....collected 33 hits, 18 runs, and finished with a .254 batting average.....Carried a .934 fielding percentage as an infielder

Prep: Left fielder for the Grandview HS Wolves, coahced by Dean Adams, who went 20-4 en-route who posted a 16-5 record en-route to a league champion and district playoff appearance in 2011, his senior season… Hit .320 while slugging at a .444 clip… Hit one home run and had a .414 on-base percentage… Also shined defensively posting a .989 fielding percentage… Had been a second team All-Conference selection as a junior, when he played second base… Received team’s Big Wolf Award, given to the player who demonstrates the best qualities of a leader on and off the field… Played in the All-Seniors game.

Club: Played second base position for the Longball Squad, coached by Justin Hackett in the summers of 2011 and 2012.

Academics: Is majoring in wildlife biology... Wants to work for the Colorado Department of Wildlife and help manage and preserve state areas...Had a 3.4 weighted high school GPA.

Off the Field: Born 08/08/93… Son of Bill and Tammy Thurston… Sister Stephanie is 22… Brother Jake is 6… Bill played college baseball for the Trinidad State… Uncle Danny Jackson pitched in the major leagues and won the world series with the Reds and Phillies… Enjoys fishing and hunting… Favorite movie is Tommy Boy… Favorite food is lasagna… Favorite professional sports team is the New York Yankees.
