Prep: Attended Mesa Ridge High School in Colorado Springs, Colo.......All-Conference tight end in 2012 and 2013.....All-Area defensive end in 2013......Academic All-State selection in 2012 and 2013.....23 catches for 344 yards and 5 touchdowns as tight end in 2013.....Recorded 43 tackles, 5 sacks, and 1 blocked field goal on defense during senior season.....Academic All-State and Deans List member all four years of high school
