2015: Started in all 11 games as a redshirt freshman … Recorded 39 receptions for 580 yards and four touchdowns … In the season finale against Colorado School of Mines and Technology, Hovasse surpassed the 100 yard mark with 110 total yards on four receptions and a touchdown (11/14/15).

Prep: As a member of the Mesa Ridge High School Grizzlies under the direction of head coach Rob Braaten … Selected First Team All-Area and Special Teams Player of the Year as senior in 2013 … As a two way player, Hovasse recorded 17 catches for over 200 yards and a touchdown as well as recording 78 total tackles and two blocked punts on defense … Lettered in baseball earning First-Team All-Area and All-State Honorable Mention as a senior.
