Prep: Compiled 1,302 yards rushing during his junior and senior seasons under coach Ron Garcia for the Overland HS Trailblazers… Played cornerback as a sophomore before switching to running back for the 2010 season (junior)… Was an honorable mention all-conference pick on defense in 2009… Tabbed for second team all-conference honors as a junior and first team all-conference honors as a senior… Also ran track for the Trailblazers, qualifying for the state meet in the 100-meter dash where he clocked a time of 10.58 seconds as a junior.
