As a Sophomore (2011): Moved to a slot receiver position... Had two carries for 24 yards... Ran for 13 in the season-ending win over Western State... Also caught seven balls for 81 yards... Caught three passes for 30 yards against Colorado Mines... Had a career-long 34-yard reception against Nebraska-Kearney... Also recorded four of his six kick offs for 74 yards against the Lopers... Had a season-long return of 29 yards in that game.. Had six kick returns for 119 yards overall, an average of 19.8 per... Tallied 108 of his 224 total all-purpose yards against the Lopers... Credited with nine games played and one start.
As a Redshirt Freshman (2010): ASC’s second leading rusher with 357 yards on 61 attempts (5.9 yards per carry)... Also hauled in six passes for 91 yards... Scored thre rushing touchdowns, including two while racking up a season-high 106 yards against Western New Mexico (Oct. 9)... Returned four kicks during the season for 104 yards, including a long of 47 yards... Recorded his longest play of the season, a 58-yard catch, against Dixie State (Aug. 28)... Totalled 552 all-purpose yards, the fourth best total on the team... Had a career-high 174 in the game against Western New Mexico... Was tied for fourth overall and third amongst non-kickers in scoring with 18 points... Played in 10 games, making three starts.
As a Freshman (2009): Redshirt season... Selected by his teammates as the Offensive Scout Team Player of the Year... Also selected by the coaching staff for the weekly award for his efforts in helping the Grizzlies prepare for the Sept. 5 game against Humboldt State (Calif.).
Prep: All-conference running back for the Jeremy Hatcock coached Desert Ridge HS Jaguars of Mesa, Ariz… Also played wide receiver position… Caught 30 passes for 928 yards as a senior in 2008… Set a school record by averaging more than 30 yards a catch… Earned first team all-conference honors as a cornerback and second team honors as a return man during his junior season in 2007… Also ran track… Was the state champion in the 200 meters and the runner-up in the 100.
Academics: Is majoring in human performance and physical education with an emphasis in sports administration... Selected to the A.D.'s Honor Roll after the 2009 fall semester.
