Chase Kyser is entering his first year as a member of the Adams State athletic family. Fall 2025 will be his first season as the assistant head coach and offensive coordinator for the Grizzlies.
Kyser comes to Adams State from West Texas A&M, where he coached two seasons alongside new Adams State head coach Levi Gallas as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Buffaloes. Before West Texas A&M, Kyser spent one season as the offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach at Texas A&M-Kingsville. The Javelina offense averaged 370.4 yards and 29.9 points per game in 2022, featuring a balanced attack with 203.7 passing yards and 166.8 rushing yards per contest. TAMUK ranked third in the Lone Star Conference in scoring offense while sitting fourth in total offense and fourth in rushing yards per game.
Before heading to Texas, Kyser was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for New Mexico Military Institute, where he helped the Broncos win the program's first-ever NJCAA Division I national championship in 2021.
Kyser worked with the wide receivers at Chadron State for the 2016 season after serving two seasons as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, Eastern New Mexico.
The Roswell, New Mexico, native graduated from Eastern New Mexico in 2013 with his bachelor's degree in English; Secondary Education after spending four seasons with the Greyhounds, where he was a four-year contributor as a wide receiver. Kyser also received his master's degree in Sports Administration in 2015 from Eastern New Mexico. Chase and his wife, Morgan, are the proud parents of two children.
