Eric Daniels is entering his first year as a member of the Adams State Athletics Family. Fall 2024 will be his first season as an Assistant Football Coach.
Daniels comes to Adams State from Western Colorado University, where he served as a Defensive Assistant working with the Defensive Backs. During his time at Western Colorado, the team went 10-2 making the playoffs and Daniels helped to produce one 1st Team All-Conference Cornerback and a 2nd Team All-Conference Safety.
Before his time at Western Colorado, Daniels worked as a Graduate Assistant coaching Outside Linebackers at Michigan Tech University.
Prior to entering college coaching, Daniels got his start at the high school level coaching at Oak Ridge High School in Tenessee. He served as the Safeties Coach and helped to produce three All-Region players. During his season at Oak Ridge they made it to the third round of the playoffs.
The Jersey City, New Jersey native, was a former Grad Transfer student-athlete at Adams State playing football and obtaining his Master's Degree in Sports Leadership. For his undergraduate degree, Daniels attended Colorado Mesa University where he was a member of the Football team from 2016-2019 where he won two RMAC Conference Championships. While there he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice.
