Adams State University

Henry Flickinger enters his first season as part of the Adams State Athletics family. Flickinger comes to Adams State after serving as the Linebackers coach at Western New Mexico University (D2).

Prior to his time at Western New Mexico, Henry spent three years at Presentation College (NAIA), where he spent two seasons coaching outside linebackers and one season as the defensive backs/punt coordinator. While pursuing his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree at Tabor College, Flickinger served as a student assistant coach from 2015-2018 and then as a Graduate Assistant from 2018-2019. During this time, Henry coached linebackers and defensive backs while assisting on the defensive side of the ball. 

Flickinger was also the Head Equipment Manager at Tabor and Presentation College during his time there.

While at Tabor, Flickinger coached three All-KCAC Linebackers in 2018 (Kaleb Neuchafer, Brad Kistner) including All-American Linebacker (Melvin Williams) along with All-KCAC Defensive back (Ray Perrault) in 2019.

At Presentation, Flickinger coached All-NSAA Linebacker (Braden Christie) in 2020 and assisted in coaching All-NSAA Defensive Backs (Billy Nelson, Isaiah Lawson), and All-NSAA P/K (Luiz Ferriera) in 2022, who was 2nd in the conference in Punt average (38.6).
