Levi Gallas

Levi Gallas is entering his first year as a member of the Grizzly Athletic Family. Gallas stepped into the role of Head Football Coach December of 2024. 

Gallas comes to Adams State after two seasons as the defensive coordinator for West Texas A&M who competes in a competitve Lone Star Conference. 

Prior to that he was a key part of the coaching staff at Nebraska-Kearney for six seasons, including two as defensive coordinator. Under his leadership, the Lopers' defense achieved significant success, ranking third in scoring defense and first in pass efficiency defense in the MIAA during his final season in 2022.

His coaching career also includes five seasons at Eastern New Mexico, where he oversaw special teams, defensive backs, and the defensive line. During his tenure, the Greyhounds earned multiple defensive accolades, including leading the conference in rush defense twice and ranking second in interceptions in 2015.

As a player at Adams State, Gallas was a two-time team captain, All-RMAC selection, and the football team MVP in 2009. He also competed in track and earned his bachelor’s degree in human performance and physical education in 2010.

He and his wife, Haley, along with their children, Paxton and Oakley, are thrilled to rejoin the Grizzly family.
