Prep: Attended Rio Rancho High School in Rio Rancho, N.M...... First Team All-District, All-Metro, All-ABQ Journal, All-NM Preps, All Northern Sectional as a senior.....Second team All-State....Under the direction of head coach David Howes, Rio Rancho was crowned the 2012 District Champions....Also wrestled in high school and was a two-time state placer and High School National All-American.

Off The Field: Born 8/26/94... Son of Hector and Marie Salgado... Has one brother, Hector Salgado III... Chose Adams State because he loved the surroundings and the expectations of being a Grizzly...Plans to major in Physical Education..... Favorite movie is Friday Night Lights... Favorite professional sports teams are the Chicago White Sox, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Los Angeles Lakers.
