As a Redshirt Freshman (2012):  Played in 11 games, making three starts... Scored two goals while assisting on another... Took 11 shots, including five on goal... Had one groundball... Caused three turnovers... Was guilty of 13 penalties, which were for 12 1/2 minutes... Scored goals against St. Michael's (Vt.) (Mar. 12) and Nothre Dame de Namur (Mar. 23)... Took seven of his 11 shots in those games... Had a season-high four against St. Michael's... Assisted on a goal at Lindenwood (Apr. 18).

Before ASU: Spent the 2010-11 school year at Pfeiffer University in Meisheimer, N.C... Did not see any action with the Falcons, also a Division II program.

Club: Played for Cheyenne Indians.

Prep: Played offensive midfield under coach Dan Hesson at Cheyenne Central HS… Was a 4-year starter and 3-year captain for the Indians… Scored 35 goals, picked up 37 groundballs and tallied 12 assists… Led the team to 2008 and 2009 state championships... Named Mr. Personality… Led team to a 9-2 record in 2010… Also a member of the Indians' football and wrestling teams.

Academics: Is majoring in sports management... Wants to become a coach and teacher and hopefully an athletic director.

Off the Field: Born 01/08/1992… Son of Kerrin O’Brien and David Beedle… Kerrin played NCAA Division I field hockey while in college... Has five siblings: Robert, Joe, Davey, Stacey and Jeni… Enjoys weight lifting… Favorite movie is Adventures of Chaw... Favorite food is a protein shake.
