2011 Outdoor: 2nd Team All-RMAC, Long Jump... USTFCCCA All-Region, Long Jump.
2010-11 Indoor: 3rd Place at NCAA DII National Championships in the long jump... 1st Team All-RMAC, Long Jump... USTFCCCA All-Region, Long Jump... USTFCCCA All-American, Long Jump.
Prep: Alex competed in the long jump, the triple jump and the 4X200m... His best jump in the long was a 22’8 and in the triple a 43’10... All-State in 2008, 2009, and 2010 and Athlete of the year in Steamboat Today... Alex was coached by David and Kim Bruner... Alex was a State champion in the long jump his senior year... Alex also played football, basketball and baseball.
Academics: Is majoring in Business Management… Wants to work for a professional sports team... Graduated from Soroco HS in 2010 with a 3.8 GPA… He was a member of the National Honor Society.
Off the Track: Born 08/21/92… Son of Rodney and Tammy Estes… Siblings of Casey (31), Holly (28), and Nicholas (11)… Enjoys hunting and fishing… Favorite movie is Bad Boys 2… Favorite food is steak… Favorite professional sports team is the Denver Broncos.
