Prep: Placed fourth in the district cross country championships as a senior (fall 2009) for the South Hills HS Scorpions of Fort Worth, Texas… Also placed second in the district in the 800 meters during his senior track season… Was also a 2-time district champion in the pole vault… Had personal best times of 51.1 (400), 2:03 (800), 4:40 (1,600) on the track and 17:32 (5K) in cross country… Helped his cross country team take fourth at the district championships… Helped the track team take second… Also played football and basketball.
Academics: Is majoring in nursing… Graduated from South Hills HS in 2010 with a 3.79 GPA… Was a national honor society member.
Off the Track: Born 6/27/91… Son of Jose and Minerva Lezama… Brothers are Victor, 21, Alfredo, 17, and Sebastian, 10… Sister Diana is 15… Enjoys riding bikes and running… Favorite movie is Band of Brothers… Favorite foods are chinese dishes... Favorite professional team is the Texas Rangers...
