Prep: Played at Fossil Ridge HS under coach Dave Phillop... had .444 batting average and a .521 on base percentage... received a Varsity letter all four years... 1st Team All-Academic... Sabercats were league champions and finished in the Final Four (1st time Final Four appearance)... also played soccer in HS.

Academics: Graduated from Fossil Ridge with a 3.98 GPA... was on the National Honor Society...National Spanish Honor Society... and the National Technical Honor Society... is majoring in Biochemistry at Adams and is minoring in Spanish... career plans include enlisting in the Air Force and enrolling in Pharmacy school so she can work in a hospital in the pediatric pharmaceutical unit

Off the Field:  Born 4/16/96.... Daughter to Clay and Amy Shultz and Leslie and Fred Flurendo... Brothers and sisters Freddie, Alex, Brenden, Dalaney, Kirsten, Tabitha, and Amelia... Hobbies include reading, snowboarding, hiking, boating, wakeboarding, flying with her dad, and spending time with her siblings... Favorite movies are Top Gun and the Sandlot... Favorite food is Mexican... Favorite sports teams are the Denver Broncos, the Colorado Rockies, and the Chicago Bears... She chose Adams State because she loved the small town feel and wanted a small community.
